For Addison City Council
Meet Trish Stuart
Dedicated to Addison's future, Trish brings community passion for connection and safety, combined with ideas to enhance our treasured traditions, as well as practical and fiscally minded solutions to serve our citizens, businesses, and visitors.
In 2005, Trish and her husband (now of 30 years) moved to Addison Circle for a job transfer. They were among the first residents of District A Townhomes in Addison Circle. Since that time their household grew with a son, two cats, a dog, and several goldfish. She has said "hello" and "goodbye" to too many friends to count. She wants people and businesses to stay and call Addison their home as long as possible, not just for a season.
Trish has always been a community advocate helping her neighbors and connecting them with essential resources. She started Addison Parents and Kids in 2015 to advocate for family programs in the community. In 2024, noticing several concerning issues in the Circle that needed attention - she became an activist for public safety in all areas of town, preserving our environment, and advocating for our dog park users. However, she discovered petitions bring attention, but to make real change for others - you need to be an elected decision maker to make a difference.
Always a vocal supporter of Addison's Police and Fire Departments - she applied to serve on the Police Department bond committee in 2025. Councilman Howard Freed appointed her as one of his two choices. It was then her eyes were opened about the need to help educate our citizens and find better ways to engage them. Trish believes it is important to listen to all voices and have representation on committees from as many different citizen demographics as possible, since we do not have districts.
Seeing her community at an important transitional crossroads, she was called to put her name forward because of her deep care and 20-year commitment to her fellow Addison citizens of all ages, her record of business community support, her advocacy for pets and nature, and known reputation of hospitality to our daily visitors. She decided to stay. She wants you to as well.

Yard Signs
Since I am self-funded I have a limited amount of yard signs available. Therefore if you right click on the image above to share this sign on your social media page to show your support - that is very appreciated too! Please let me know if you would like a sign for your window, yard, or at your business as soon as possible to ensure we have enough.
Host an event at your home or community space to ask questions and share information. I will not tell you how to vote - but share why I believe what I do about each issue, along with the pros and cons for each position. I respect we all have different opinions as Americans, so it is important to be educated voters - as knowledge is power. Just because you host a gathering doesn't equate a vote - it means you want to ask questions and know where I stand on issues.
